Introduction
About me
I offer a calm, grounded space where you can slow down and begin to make sense of what’s going on beneath the surface.
You don’t need to arrive with clarity or the “right” words, we begin wherever you are. Therapy with me is collaborative and paced around you, with space to explore openly while still feeling supported and guided.
My work is rooted in curiosity, honesty, and care. I pay close attention to the wider context of your life: your relationships, identity, past experiences, and the environments you move through. I work in a trauma-informed way and place strong importance on creating a space that feels safe and free from judgment, especially when exploring sensitive topics such as sexuality or personal experiences that may feel difficult to talk about.
Alongside understanding what’s happened, we also focus on how you want to live now. This might mean feeling more at ease in yourself, navigating relationships differently, or finding moments of steadiness and even joy, again.
Clients often say they feel comfortable and able to be themselves in our sessions. There’s space for both depth and lightness, and a sense of direction without pressure. I tend to guide gently rather than push, so you can move at your own pace while still feeling held and supported.

My approach
What it's like to work with me
You don’t need to come into therapy with everything figured out. Many people aren’t sure what they need yet, that’s completely okay. We start where you are.
In our first session, we’ll explore what’s been going on, what feels important, and what it’s like for you to speak openly without judgment. I’ll help us shape a gentle direction together, nothing rigid. I often ask what would feel “25% better” in your life — something realistic and reachable, and we use that as a starting point. It’s also your space to get a feel for how I work, and whether it feels right for you.
Over time, I see progress not as fixing yourself, but as feeling more at ease in who you are, more steady, more understood, and more able to respond to life in a way that feels right for you. We define that together, based on what matters to you, not external expectations. The work often happens through small, meaningful shifts that build over time.
There’s no pressure to do anything outside of sessions. Some people find it helpful to reflect or try things between sessions, others don’t. We figure that out together, if something feels useful, we include it; if not, we leave it. The process adapts to you.

Beyond therapy
Why I love being a therapist
Being a therapist is a privilege. To be trusted with someone’s story, and to walk alongside them through difficult or meaningful moments, is something I don’t take lightly. This work isn’t just a job for me, it’s a way of being. I feel grateful every day to do it, and to the people who allow me to be part of their journey.
My interests & joys
I have a strong interest in learning and personal development, particularly in literature, history, and philosophy. I usually take on a new course each year. But honestly, my biggest passion is therapy itself: exploring different approaches, research, and ways of supporting people. And outside of that, spending time with my dog.
