    Introduction

    About me

My core training is in Clinical and Health Psychology, with experience in neuropsychology, crisis intervention, and psychosocial support.

In my private practice, I integrate Cognitive-Behavioural Therapies with multisensory stimulation and trauma-focused approaches, including EMDR and Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR). I see therapy as a collaborative process, something we build together at a pace that feels safe and meaningful.

I value transparency, humour when it fits the moment, and a human approach to the therapeutic relationship. When helpful, I can also be direct (sometimes gently provocative) to support insight and movement when someone feels stuck.

Clients often describe me as warm and thoughtful, and many share that therapy has helped them see their situation with greater clarity and hope.

Many of the people I work with are navigating major life transitions, particularly relocation and migration, which can bring both opportunity and emotional challenges.

    My approach

What it's like to work with me

In the first session, we work together to clarify what has brought you to therapy. I aim to create a safe and supportive space where you can share at your own pace. If it feels difficult to know where to begin, I will gently guide the conversation with exploratory questions to help us understand your experiences and concerns.

Progress often begins when clients start “connecting the dots” between their life experiences, personal history, and current patterns of behaviour. This understanding can bring greater self-acceptance and help people feel more connected to themselves, their surroundings, and their community. Over time, many notice they are approaching daily life in a more grounded and fulfilling way.

I often suggest reflections or small exercises to try between sessions. These can support the therapeutic process, but it is always the client’s choice whether they would like to engage with them.

    Beyond therapy

Why I love being a therapist

One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing clients make progress and hearing that they value the time they invest in themselves through therapy. On a slightly nerdier note, I also enjoy observing how therapeutic techniques and approaches come to life in practice, and seeing how they genuinely help people move forward.

    My interests & joys

I’m usually reading two types of books at the same time: psychology and fiction. I also enjoy music across different genres, including rock, jazz, techno, and classical. For exercise, I practise swimming and yoga (usually vinyasa). I also enjoy watching drama series. When I’m relaxing at home, you’ll often find me with a book, music, or a good series.
