    Introduction

    About me

I’m Adeline, an integrative therapist who believes therapy should feel like a safe exhale — a space where you can drop the masks, slow down, and truly be yourself. Having lived in Malaysia, Thailand, and now the UK, I’ve learned that our stories are shaped not only by our experiences, but also by the cultures and connections around us.

In our sessions, there’s no rush and no “right” way to be. We’ll follow what feels most important to you, whether that’s untangling a difficult feeling, learning ways to cope with overwhelm, or simply having a place to be heard without judgement. My role is to walk alongside you, offering curiosity, compassion, and the right tools for your journey.

I became a therapist because I’ve seen the difference it makes when someone truly listens. The support I received during my own challenges inspired me to create that same kind of space for others, a place where hope can return, clarity can grow, and you can feel more like yourself again.

    My approach

What it's like to work with me

In our first session, my priority is making sure you feel safe, heard, and not rushed. We’ll take some time to get to know each other and talk about what’s brought you here — but you decide how much or how little you share to start. I’ll invite you to explore what you’d like to work on, and I’ll reassure you along the way: there’s no “right” or “wrong” way to be in therapy. If you’re feeling nervous, that’s completely normal, we’ll go at a pace that feels right for you. This first meeting is about building trust and making sure you feel supported as we begin.

For progress, I see it as something we define together based on what matters to you — whether that’s feeling less overwhelmed, handling challenges differently, or simply noticing a shift in how you think and feel. We’ll check in regularly, sometimes through conversation, sometimes by reflecting on where you started, so you can see the changes for yourself.

When it comes to “homework,” I see it as optional tools rather than tasks. If it feels helpful, we might agree on small activities, like journaling, trying a coping strategy, or noticing certain patterns in your day. But there’s no pressure. The focus is always on what supports you best, at your pace.

Why I love being a therapist

I love witnessing those moments when clients begin to recognise their own strength and feel hopeful again. It’s a privilege to walk alongside people during some of their most vulnerable times, offering a safe space where they can be completely themselves. Every journey is unique, and I’m constantly learning from my clients. For me, it’s the small, meaningful shifts, the ones that add up to big changes — that make this work so rewarding.
