    Introduction

    About me

I’m a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist who combines evidence-based therapy with a warm, collaborative, and practical approach. Drawing on CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), I integrate neuroscience, mind–body practices, and nervous system regulation to help clients build resilience, heal from past experiences, and create meaningful change.

My work is tailored to each individual, meeting you where you are, moving at a pace that feels right, and focusing on what matters most to you. I have supported clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions, both in the UK’s IAPT services and in private practice.

Having lived in Yemen, Germany, and the UK, I bring a culturally informed perspective to therapy and a deep respect for each client’s unique background and story. Clients often describe me as genuine, compassionate, honest, and “like a friend who truly cares.”

    My approach

What it's like to work with me

In our first session, we’ll take time to understand what’s brought you here, explore how change happens, and talk about your hopes and expectations for therapy. I aim to create a collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and supported from the start.

Progress will look different for everyone. Sometimes we’ll use evidence-based clinical tools like PHQ-9 and GAD-7 to track measurable changes, while other times we’ll focus on your own reflections of growth, resilience, and daily life improvements. The goal is to make sure therapy moves at a pace that feels right for you, and that you leave each session with clarity, tools, and a sense of direction.
